This song brought me to tears the first day hearing it in worship.  We all go through the proverbial desert one way or another, and I didn't really understand what others were going through until I was in the desert myself with intense loneliness, isolating emotions and what seemed like endless miles of dry sand in any direction.  But looking up and seeing the twinkling stars, and becoming acquainted with the Presence of God in the stillness, it became a place I treasured, because He was there with me. God is faithful, never leaving us, never forsaking us,  but transforming us into His image through to the other side.  2 Cor. 3:18
